I know everyone has dif standards. But, is 5'11" considered normal or tall to today's ladies' standards? also I am 148 pounds..what u think?

I consider it normal... a little bit tall... definitly not short at all though
and you should gain some weight... at least 10 or 15 more pounds.

your height is fine, you are too skinny. Maybe you are young and will fill out. As far as standards, to each his own. It's about the "person" not how tall they are.

the average height for an American male is 5’9
Average height for a American female is 5’3.7
So I would consider you tall, of course if the female was over 6ft it be a different story wouldn’t it

Sounds like you need an ego boost. 5'11 is tall, most girls are about 5'2 to 5'6. There ya go.

Too short for what???? I am 5'6" every one tells me I am short. I think anything above 5'8" is tall, under short. I weigh in at around 150lbs.

haha im like 5'8 and 164. Before i met my wife i dated lots and lots of women. Some care, some dont. But you have nothing too worry about unless you like female basketball players.

That's "short" considering the average male is a little over 6 feet, but I think most people are appropriate height for who they are. =)
