Heres the case:
I have been single since May. I have the tendency to get over relationships that end badly really quickly, and that is what happened with the scum that i dated in May (it was only 1 month). but i hate being alone and my friends all are paired of and i am the only single one in our little "group". I HATE IT!! Every one in my school doesnt really kno i exist unless they have a class with me (i am a freshman in HS). i am really quiet and people are quick to judge me as stand-offish, a snob, or just REALLY shy. I consider myself average looking, not ugly but not breathtakingly beautiful either. I really want a boyfreind but i dont know how to get one. any suggestions?

Nothing like playing the "role" game.. Ill take vanity and cheap thrills for 100 alex... The longer you try to reach past fallen masks or try to play someone else's favorite character.. the more you are going to lose yourself completely in the end. Quiet and baggage gives you depth .Ive had more 5 hour life changing conversations with the shy kind then looking for words to get past the 5 w's conversation ( who what where etc) with those thought of as popular.. That fades, character never does. Can i get addicted yet?

im single too!....and have been single since june and i know how you feel.... but right now what im doing is focusing on my studies and not boys because i learned that they really can get in the way.... of things........ so the best thing i can tell you is that try to stand out but not in a sleezy sort of way.. and let guys come to you but if you stand out too much then im almost sure that the guys that are jerks will come after you...but....the good guys usually are kind of shy not always but, most...lol....

You've described yourself to us. Now describe yourself to YOU, and determine what you left out! Also investigate those negatives you did list.
I think that you are much too hard to please for a young lady of your age and station. Slow down, relax, be kind, laugh, be funny, be yourself, and quit trying to pretend to be someone you're not so as to catch a guy. You'll catch enough, soon enough.
Pay attention to your studies, now. If you take the time to look OUTSIDE your little clique, you'll notice that there are a whole lot of 'unattached" girls; you are NOT the only one. Don't be clique-ish. Guys hate that!

Be yourself, don't worry about your friends having bfs. Watch as soon as you get a bf they won't have one. Wait for a nice guy to come along that will treat you right before finding just any guy.
