how can i be tolerant when i have young children that im trying to teach right from wrong and then they have to see 2 guys or girls kissing each other and then im not ready to explain and they aren't ready to hear but they still ask and then i tell them in simple terms that they are wrong for doing that and living that way and then next u know i just created more gay haters. in my own time when i think they are ready i will tell them in a way where they are supposed to love every1 and stuff but when its shoved down my throat to explain it when they are too young to understand then i am quite angry and i may say some angry words.
besides that the bible says its wrong

Sounds like you have your mind made up that homosexuality is right, so why do you care?
By no means am I homophobic, however I do believe that at the core root it is wrong. It's so different now. On one hand you have the "real" gays/lesbians, and then on the other hand you have these bi-sexuals that seem to straddle both sides of the fence in order to satify their sexual needs. Either more people are "coming out" these days, or more are jumping on the bandwagon as if being a homosexual is some sort of fashion trend.
I love hip-hop til the day that I die, but I hate it when rappers or rock stars talk about two or more girls and have it in their videos. Young people can be influenced by this. My friend celebrated her 30th bday so we all met up in this trendy club for her party. We were amazed when two girls were dancing all on each other at the bar, because it seemed to us that they were just doing it to get the guys' attention that were around them. Or that whole GIRLS GONE WILD thing just makes me sick. I would beat my daughter's ***!!
About Da Vinci, if you don't know by now, history has been so distorted in the past and now with instant access to vast amount of information and sources, the real things are coming out that they don't put in our school books. As parents, that's another one of our jobs anyway-to teach beyond what's in the school books. With that said, Christopher Columbus' story doesn't sound so glamorus anymore. And the truths about certain historic figures are coming out as well, from DaVinci being gay to Ceasar "boning" his sister, to Cleopatra being African despite Hollywood casting Elizabeth Taylor in that role.
Being a flamboyant homo, they left that juicy little tidbit out until recently.

Worship Da Vinci? I don't think so. I think Elton John has some good songs, but I don't worship him either. Modern age or not, you cannot dismiss the word of God, unless you are God-less. Leviticus 18:22 says a man shall not lay with man as he does a woman. The whole chapter tells you what you cannot do sexually. As far as tolerance goes....if a dude wants to bump uglies with another dude it's his business, but don't throw it in my face and try to make me accept it, because I never will. We all know homosexuals are out there and if we wanted to see it, we'd go to a gay bar. But Biblically, it is wrong, and mans' laws do not stand above the law of God, they just undermine it. No matter how "modern" we are.

Forget the words tolerant or or modern age, the bible speaks of the sin of homosexuality that it is wrong and because a number of people do it ,does not make it right. And love towards a man and women are the right way of loving not that opposite. This age tends to do anything it wants and makes some stupid excuse to accept it.

Michael Angelo was in love with a guy too. I am only a moderate liberal. Leonardo also believed that the human specy will vanish. I guess it would if everyone was like Da Vinci.

well then maybe he should change his mind and trune his life aroun God said its wrong in fact the destoryed two cities over and he said to put the to death. God made man and women not man nad man. Man and womens sexual organs fit together for a reason. your butt is for desposing of human waist not for puting foran things and man parts in. and if women are gay why to they go but male parts to have sex this is just wrong they are wrong. they may love each other just not in that way.we are suposed to love everyone not have sex with them. Read your bible gen. tells u about the fall of sodom and gamara

I don't think that homosexuality is wrong, but I don't know many people that worship Da Vinci. He was a genius, but not someone to worship

The reason I believe homosexuality is wrong is because the Bible repeatedly says its wrong. The Bible provides me a solid, non-adjustable moral standard, it doesn't change with the times. It's more of a moral absolute than moral relativism.
Sorry, but my God tells me it's wrong, I'll believe Him over a human ANY day of the week.
