I'm pregnant!!!!!!!!! how do i tell my husband. i need something creative!

Put a bow around the pregnancy test and leave it on top of his pillow. Saw it on a TV show once.

Maybe you can just let events unfold, tho all these playful ways here sound nice. When I found out I was pregnant the first time, I also didn't know how to tell my husband. He happened to be studying Tarot Cards and I asked him to do a reading on me. He said, after reading my cards, "This signifies the birth of a son or the arrival of a great leader." I was dumbfounded. And then I said, "Well, I'm guessing both." And we certainly did have a son and we named him after a great leader. Amazingly, since about age 7, he's been devouring books on history, economics, and warfare, tho maybe not so amazing, as often, my bedtime stories for him were stories of the American revolution and intellectual founding and then at age 3, his bedtime story for 18 months was The Odyssey.
The second child we'd been trying for for so long, there was no holding back on my part when I got the results. I'm sure he heard me while still at work.
I wish you joy as you watch with amazement the wonderful life inside you unfold.

Congratulations to you both! My idea would be to have a special evening planned for him....maybe a romantic home cooked dinner or to throw him off a bit go to his favorite restaurant. Though out the dinner, give him a total of 9 "small" gifts. Tell him he has to figure out how they all go together. Some ideas are New Edition Cd or tape, a roll of quarters (to call family members on the big day...I know cell phones are handy but many places do not allow you to use them), disposable camera, a cigar or box of them, calendar (to keep track of Dr. aptt.) bottle of champagne, small st uffed animal, an alarm clock set to 2 (2 a.m. feedings) and a picture frame (optional it could say World's Best Daddy). Though if you did the last gift, I would save it for the 9th present and ask if he has figured out how the other 8 go together.

Oh, this could just be too much fun!
1.) Home preg. test strip as a gift (wrapped in plastic baggie, for obvious reasons) & a bow.
2.) A book for new fathers, placed on his pillow, or gifted in front of family, or during a beautiful dinner.
3.) Buy a new baseball mitt, explaining he's going to need the practice. (even little girls play)

Congratulations!!! That is wonderful news about your pregnancy.
Now about the creative way to tell your husband.......what if you make a romantic dinner but let the theme of that dinner be BABY......like serving foods with the word baby in them....like baby back ribs, baby carrots for example, then for dessert you could have a cake with something written on it like " have you figured it out yet daddy?"

When I got pregnant with my last child I made my husband a candy bar poster care that read..

My husband read the card a few times then grinned and said "Sugar Babies, does that mean more than one or couldn't you paste on a single Sugar Baby?" He still has the card although he ate all the candy didn't even share with me lol

I love that A&W commercial where the kids go out with the parents and the son buys his dad a grandpa burger, you could go shopping, stop by A&W and buy him a papa burger, very casual like.

if u had an older child....would have a shirt that says "i'm a big sis/bro" have her/him walk around for a day.
U can get a pic frame and put " World's Newest Daddy"
Or "Coming Soon....Boy or Girl"
You can bake a cake and have it in theme as a baby shower....stork carring baby...
You can make a game out of it.....
Make clues and hide baby items around....pacifiers...bottle..things of that natural.

and take his hands in yours, look into his eyes and announce your good news and let your man know how much you love him and appreciate him
