i was wondering what good qualities do you need to have to become a sucessful electrician. i think im going to become an industrial electrician. does this career make more then people who have a diploma in marketing. also how would i open my own electrician company thanks for your help and advices i appreciate for those who actaully tried to help out thanksss

A good electrician can ALWAYS make money. It's a job that's always in demand. You need to be able to do math and read wiring diagrams. Contact your local IBEW hall and ask when the next apprentice test is. Take the test and become a Union Apprentice. It's a good trade and a guaranteed paycheck. Once you become a Journeyman Electrician, you can open your own shop by getting a business license and a van. Good Luck.

You don't need a college degree to be an electrician. To open your own electric company, you need to know the electrical code and be licensed. You could start out as a helper for an electrician and go to a trade school to do some book learnin.

you have to be very safety conscious for one and be quality conscious for another. having an artistic flair would help for those really odd jobs that need ingenuity. anything less will hurt your financial prospects
