Mazda is the best all around for what you listed.

Mazda is the best choice, but a 03 Maxima is also good. The 99 Civic probably is burned and the Solara is pretty old. Scions TC is very expensive and not a great ride. (A friend of mine tried it and finally bought the Mazda 3).

Mazda 6 = not very reliable.
Civic Si = Already played out. (Not the car to have anymore.)
Maxima = Yummy !!
Solara = Only if it is a V6.
TC = Best car for the money, this is what I would go for.
It would be down to the Maxima and the TC, they are two very different types of cars. Four door vs two door, V6 vs in line four, they are both reliable, and both are comfortable. The Maxima is already fast and the TC has many different possible upgrades. It's your pick in the end, cuz it's your money!!!
