I'm smart, and I can sing well, but I am kind of a dork at my school. None of the girls even know I exist, and I'm too quiet to talk to anyone outside of my clique. What do I do?

I'm a Freshman, and I do sing well, and my friends are nice, but I would never date one of them.

the key is not trying to remake yourself, rather change the groups of people that you're exposed to. It sounds like your feeling isolated right now. You'd be surprised at the changes you can make by joining a club, group or sports team.
Have doubts? Make a list of stuff that compliments what you do well and start opening doors instead of feeling shut in.

Try to talk to new people. It's not always about the cliques. I mean i'm almost positive that you get sick of them sometimes. So find some new friends that you can talk to and maybe once and a while hang out with. Good luck hun!

First of all, dress well.
And start slow by talking to more and more people each day.. organise a get together at some joint or stg....
And find a nice sweet girl and ask her if she's like to have lunch with you... build your confidence from there.

just start going to things out side of school like, churches and youth groups and if the girls there dont know u exist then why should u care about them? if it helps any i think u seem nice.

Get involved in nonthreatening group situations that would bring you in contact with lots of people and start getting to know the individuals.

Look online for a make over place and save money to afford a make over and try to change your look and cloths and dont be shy!
