A christian's only biblical guidance is not to be unequally yoked. Traditionally taught to mean not to marry an unsaved person, however it could be translated to mean not to be married to anyone who would hinder your witness, which seems to me to be a matter to think over more carefully. This is not a you can not enter into the kingdom of heaven kind of guidance and it was given directly to a people who had a far different culture and practice than we do. Example girls were given by their fathers in marriage. there were many other differances with regards to this advice and one of the rules of context is to whom was the scripture is written so I guess the decision is up to you and do your best to ferret out what the guidance means to you now today, and I advise you do not assume it has no meaning today because usually scripture has a cross despensational quality.

Look at these two pieces of scripture in the Old Testament: Exodus 34:15-16 and Deut. 7:1-4. In these verses, God warns the Isrealites to avoid wedding the people of another land. This had nothing to do with their race and everything to do with their religion. The Lord knew that if the Isrealites married non-jews, they would turn away from Him. There aren't any verses I can find that prohibit christians from marrying outside of race (in fact, I'm white and my wife is black). You are warned not to be unequally yoked with non-believers, that's very different. I've found through my own experience in an inter-racial marriage that I see new and previously undreamed of parts of the Lord and His Church in my wife and her christian family. God has blessed our marriage in many ways and has used it to break predjudice and hatred towards other races in our families. It is a struggle sometimes to deal with the ignorance of loved ones and strangers, but it is the Lord's refining fire that makes us stronger through this persecution. Jesus is love. Marriage between a man and woman in the name of Jesus is holy no matter what race the bride and groom happen to be.

It is certainly not UN-biblical. The only people in the Bible forbidden from marrying foreigners were the Levitical priests of the Old Testament. Since I doubt very much anyone on Yahoo is one of those, then the answer is there is nothing wrong with it. In fact, the Bible specifically says that we are one in Christ, wherever we might be from. Although, you might find marrying someone from a different country gives you some challenges to overcome, while marrying anyone is already a tough undertaking in itself.

Look around you, can you tell me that God sees in color, when he is no respecter of Persons, and he tells us to be just like him. The Bible says, not to marry out of your faith. That brings more trouble, then race. If you Love the Person, God is Love,
Jesus died on the Cross for our sins, being judgmental, is a sin, Romans chp 2: 1-4 read it.
Just make sure the person is in your Church with the same faith, you will do just fine, and have wonderful children who know to love everyone, that's your job.

Is biblical to marry a person. The Bible states that it must be a man woman thing, it doesn´t say that race matters.

The Bible makes no mention of any ban to marrying outside your race. I think it frowns on anything outside of your species since it mentions lying with an animal is an abomination.

Absolutely not! How dare you think about your own happiness! Didn't you know that god wants you to be a miserable, unhappy, bitter bastard. I mean what better way can you think of to benefit the world than to be a miser? Dude come on, go ahead and marry if you love her. Did you really need to ask?

BIBLICAL? its more "biblical to marry someone you love no matter what race, than someone you don't, simply because they go to the same church. Do you really think God is a racist bigot like you?

What do you mean by "is it Biblical"? Only if you are speaking of a person of the opposite sex, then yes, the term marriage applies in the Biblical sense.

There was a strong dividing line between races because of mission statement in my opinion my personal stand is that we are totally equal to God but we do have different things we are set apart to do by tribe etc. but I have lots of room to listen to what you think
