my bf broke up with me for my best friend and she said yes and she knows how much i loved him and i just found out few days ago they were talking behind my back and he called me mean names to and she went right along with him and now his best friend wants me and my ex bf is saying if i go out with his best friend he is going to hurt me and his best friend is saying he will not let it happen what should i do

Firstly, learn to punctuate.
Secondly, if you love your ex boyfriend, why would you be contemplating going out with his best friend?
Tell your friend that you didn't appreciate your going behind your back and tell her the two of you are no longer friends. Boys come and go but friends are meant to be forever.
Give the three of them the flick and find new friends.

sweet heart...he's a TOTAL jerk ...he is selfish!!!he wants to play around with your best friend and you can't do that with his best friend !!!!...he didn't love you in the first place!!!
if he did he would never threaten to hurt you even after you broke up !!!
ask your self ..DO you really wanna start a relationship with your exs' best friend just to make him feel jealouse or because you really like that guy...
if you chose the 2nd answer then trust your man that he won't let your ex hurt you

gesh gril get a life......what on earth will you do when bigger problems come a long in life .....you are young be happy with what you have in it.....it is just one boy they will be others i am sure ....and just how can he hurt you, has he not already done that to you ??tell him to f*** off cause you are the best thiing that ever happen to him and always be happy when he comes around ..us guys hate that really we do...and stop talking to your so called friend she was and is no friend to you ...if she was then she would not be with your x-boyfriend now would she??

ok this answer may not be right for you, but it is for me because i like taking risks. my advice is to just go out with him. if you think about it seriously wat could you ex really do to you?. one you get to know the other guy, tell that your ex threatened to hurt you. if he likes you. he'll stand up for you and he wont let you get hurt...
