Well, what makes it difficult is that we're faced with the society that's already had enough with (hypocrite) christians...
A lot of time when I tried to share about the Lord, they would start complaining about their relatives, friends, colleagues whose christians... but they didn't follow the christian lifestyle...
"ahhh christian crap again...! Look at my friend... he's been sleeping around with women in church... What is the different between him and me? At least I did not do something immoral like that... Fix him first and then come to me." -> one of the quote that I got from one delusional sinner...
I wish christians are christians... but some of them are just plain evil...
They said that they are christians... while in actualilty they're not...

Other Christians who do not live honestly and those who are mean-spirited hinder the gospel message. The best way to overcome bad behavior is to make a point to live and operate in integrity and remember to show the love of Christ.
Spreading the gospel is not difficult, but can be challenging as people do not want to hear a sermon - they want to see a sermon.

Most have trouble because they fear being rejected, disliked or thought less of. If we swallow our pride and quite being babies about it we should all be good at witnessing to others. The disciples in scripture were the ones having problems, Crucifixion, stoning, thrown of cliffs, beheaded, etc... we should be able to put up with a little criticism. This forum is no place to practice spreading the gospel. One other problem is that Christians today do not study and know the scripture the way they did in the Bible, it is not easy to spread the gospel when you do not know it.

Yes, the fact that we have a tough time conquering our own cowardice when it comes to evangelizing. I often wonder at people who go sky diving and bungee jumping and other "Death Defying" acts when the real Death Defying act is to speak to someone about God when they do not want you to because they will have to confront their own sinfulness. The Media plays a very important role in our difficulties too. They make everyone feel that their just not happy until they have sex all the time and make a gazillion dollars and are beautiful especially if they have had plastic surgery and blah, blah blah--Am I right?
One of the things we can do to give our attitudes a boost is to concentrate on Jesus' suffering and realize he did that for the person we want to talk to. That should enthuse us also alot of prayer. There is validity to fasting also.

Spreading the Gospel will always be difficult, satan hates it, he will do anything to avoid it, or put as many obstacles in your path, the Gospel sets people free from his grip, he does not like i t. All we can do is to go forth with the power of the Holy Spirit, and let the Spirit of the Lord, draw those unto Him that will receive salvation.

Media's portrayal of our belief system by showing only the sick extremists who picket military funerals and abortion clinics. TV evangelists who live in lavish mansions and get caught with prostitutes. Political figures who toss around "religious morals" in their agendas and end up doing the same as those evangelists.
Those people represent about 5% of Christians, but end up being the poster children for us because of the media. Thus we are stereotyped and bashed by agnostics who believe they have sufficient fuel to condemn a population of millions.
The way to overcome it is to continue doing what we know is right. To follow the word of God as it is written, not to try and make interpretations that suit our own needs and to be the body of Christ. Serve others, practice forgiveness, love the sinners but teach against the sin. And most importantly, teach your children to walk in the truth, because every generation we equip will bring Him glory.

The biggest problem is ourselves. We send twisted messages that cause people to stumble over us. We need to live the Gospel before we go out and preach it. We need to stop cramming our beliefs down people's throats and only share the message with those who are ready to hear it.
Does not God say that we throw the seed and that God makes it grow? We need to stop trying so hard and just do our part and trust God to do the rest. Some plants are not ready to be harvested yet... others are. Don't try to push people when they are not ready to make a decision and those who have made a decision.. if they choose unfavorably... let them be. Constantly badgering people only makes it harder for them to listen because we are building up their walls of mistrust and not tearing them down. Trust has to be earned.

People pretending to be Christians in front of other Christians and then out in the world they are just themselves, not Christian at all. The very worst is a Christian that doesn't act Christ-like. To overcome them, is to either be Christ-like or don't say you are a Christian.

SPIRITUAL DARKNESS --- I friend of mine - a pastor - just wrote a column in the local paper about "salvation". But most people where I live do not know what "salvation" is - - - and classical country music says that it is landing in the arms of the person you have been obsessing over for quite some time.

Two things I think
1) Christians who profess to be Christians and are not and live like the devil.
2) Men like dark rather than light because their deeds are evil.
