I would forget about him. After all my relationships ended for one reason or another, I kept coming back to him. I moved and my number changed, so he has no way of getting a hold of me. I still know how to find him though.

It depends on if the split was amicable. If it was I would say yes but start out as friends and dont get your hopes up he may be involved or not interested. Also if you only want to get in touch with him because someone broke your heart wait awhile and see if you still want to. Remember we sometimes tend to remember relationships different then what they really were.

If he missed you as much as you missed him , he would have initiated some form of reconciliation... 3 years is mighty long and it does seem that this is pretty much one-sided remnant affection on your part.....
Don't start yourself on the same path again.. there must have been a reason why you left in the first place.

You know that you still love him, but you can not be sure that he still loves you. If you want to find him there is nothing wrong with that, your problem is in knowing he loves you. This feeling can cause you much heartache if he does not share your feeling.
