I think because women are more one-on-one. We are more emotional and senstive. Men usually aren't ones to have intimate conversations. Men know that if they were to tell you they aren't happy, it would start a heated and looooooooong conversation. I really don't think the majority of men would even know what to say. They would feel trapped and men are not talkers to begin with. I also think men are too lazy. They also don't think they will get caught cheating. This isn't all men, though. Just some of them. I think some men figure they'll do it as long as no one catches them in the act. It would take too much work for them to say it's over. The last thing the want to do is argue.

they probably are very happy in their relationship but lying and cheating is a primitive part of them that they have no desire to grow out of. why should they when they've too much to lose? the best way to tell if ANYONE is going to be a liar or a cheat in relationships is to look first at their birth certificate, if it says 'male' then they are.

much easier to lie and cheat than deal with the big problem when admitting to losing attraction for a long term gf. just my opinion.

They do this cause they think they are going to make the wife/girlfriend believe that the relationship will work out so freakin' great. NEWS FLASH : That's not going to work out! Some guys are cowards!
NOT ALL OF THEM! Just the ones who wont admit it wont work out!

It was generally because they were trying to be SELF-PROTECTIVE, they didn't want to lose their partner or lose the opportunity for sex in that situations. They know full well about the seriousness of their LIES.
