Go on with business as usual. The more you act offended by it, or angry the worse the gossip gets. Try to ignore them and do your job. Once they see that you are not a good candidate for the office gossip, the quicker they will move on to something(or someone) else. Just make sure, when it is someone else, you show that you don't want any part of it. Gossip is a very cruel, unnecessary evil in the workplace.

Although it may hurt, try to put it out of your mind. I have been the topic of office gossip in the past (as have many of my co-workers for one reason or another), and if you address it, it will only be fueled. Most smart people won't listen or even believe the gossip. Most of the time it's a bunch of B.S. anyway.

People will always gossip. You have to do your best to ignor it. If you ignor it long enough they will get tired of gossiping about you. They need to keep drama going. If you don't give them any ammunition then they get bored. Good Luck And don't sweat the small stuff.

Politely correct anyone who asks you about something that may be inaccurate. When it gets back to the person spreading gossip, they'll be duly embarassed.

I would just ignore it and go on with my work. We can handle this graciously by ignoring it and don't be bothered by gossipers.

Act Normal
One time I was accused of stealing tips as a waitress. I was so mad but I ignored them and proved them wrong with my actions, not words

Just confront the spreaders or just IGNORE them. They are just jealous of what you have.
