I don't know why your mouth would be that close to the vent, but anyway, they do have tools to clean the lint traps and also the tubes going out from a dryer. ltd commodities had them, so did Target. They worked well for me.

Clean it while it's running. Mine is on the top of of the dryer. I turn it on first, then clean it & it sucks any floating fuz back in the hole. Yours may not be on the top.
Or you could take a handful of the old lint you already discarded "out of the trash" & place it in the filter on top of the new link, it will stick to it & will ball up easier and have less fly away. Just suggestions. It works for me.

Wear a painters mouth maske available at hardware stores or dampen the lint before you try to remove it.

Don't open your mouth, don't even breathe until you've done the job, and moved away.

Or you can use a dust filter. Or hankerchief.

Use a vacuum cleaner, and keep your mouth in the closed position.

well lets c this could get difficult. well you could just wear a mask or you could go out and chop down this tree and then thin it down then stick a brush at the end and the clean it that way. but i prefer the first one.
