soap and water depending on the brand but you can also use baby oil. It takes off temporary tattoos and I'm fairly sure it will get the dye off of your face. Hope it works! I usually get mine dyed in a salon and they have little botles of special stuff, but i'm pretty sure it's just scented baby oil. LOL

Ha, you'll laugh, but I promise this is the real answer. I know cause I have done so many colors. Wild and conservative, its all the same answer......
Hair dye!
Yep dye removes dye. When you are washing out the dye, you need to take some of the moist dye and put it over the dried dye along your hair line and anywhere on your skin (even your hands) and rub it in circular motions for a minute. You may have to go over it a couple times, but I have never failed to remove color from a clients skin before sending them on their way.
Now that you know my secret tip (told to me by a very experienced professional, and probably not that secret in the industry) use it and love it.
Try it. Nothing will do it better or faster I guarantee it.
Good luck. Email if you have concerns. Tho I'm sure you'll pick it up, it's pretty straight forward.

Dye Removes Dye Like many stains, it often takes the stain producing product to actually remove the stain. The strongest cleaners won't remove coffee stains from some counter tops or other hard surfaces, but use a little coffee while scrubbing the stain, and amazingly, it comes right off. The same goes for hair dye. The following method of color removal is recommended by professional hair stylists. While in the shower, use leftover hair dye to remove the dye from stained skin. Simply apply leftover hair dye to the dyed areas of your skin, apply it as you would soap, and rub the stained skin using a circular motion. Immediately afterwards, wash the area with shampoo or soap and a washcloth. The color should come off like magic. Baking Soda and Dishwashing Liquid This is a home remedy that is said to work well for some people. Simply mix equal parts of baking soda with dishwashing liquid. Apply this mixture to a damp washcloth, and rinse off the baking soda and dishwashing liquid along with the dye. Dishwashing liquid that contains lemon is said to be the best choice. Try Toothpaste Toothpaste is good for more than cleaning teeth. Toothpaste is used for cleaning a number of surfaces other than teeth, and many people have found toothpaste to work well at removing dye from the hands, ears, neck, and face. Toothpaste doesn't work for everyone, but it's worth a try since toothpaste is cheap and readily accessible. Hope that helps you!! Good luck!! :)

DO NOT USE ACETONE!!! It can get in your eyes and blind you!

Take a bath and let the warm water soak into the color, it helps and than I'd wash your face, neck & ears w face soap.

Than clean w/ an astringent such as Sea Breeze.

Good Luck,

It will come off in a day or two. You don't have to do anything. Unless you want to go to Sally beauty supply and get some color remover for the skin.
