Whatever you do DON't try to lighten it with a lighter dye-you'll just come out with an undesirable color...my hair was green for a while after I tried to lighten a black hair color with a lighter brown...be careful...

There are no products at wal-mart, but you can go to a beauty supply store and ask them for a color stripper, it will take some off the color out.

I think they sell hair clippers. A close shave will get out all the dark hairs and then you can let the natural colour grow back in.

Either wait and let it fade or go to a salon and let them use a color remover to lighten it. Be aware that you should have them put a color on after wards cause it is going to look really bad.

L'oreal makes a "hair color remover" - I found it at Ulta. It works really well, and it didn't totally destroy my hair (although it certainly could have - it's pretty harsh bleach).
