You can't be looking for a reward when you do something good, and you have to realize that people tend only to pick apart what they see as wrong or stupid.
You could try politely telling anybody who decides to point out some mistake you made that you're not interested in re-hashing any mistakes with anyone who may not even be involved in the matter. A ruder way to say it would be, "Do you any sign hanging around my neck that says 'I welcome your opinions'?" And then there's the more extreme, "Oh....you must be mistaking me for someone who is interested in hearing other people's opinions."
People will claim that they are just trying to "help" you learn or "offer guidance". That's how they get away with offering their critiques on daughters, sons, spouses, co-workers, etc. They may not even mean to do what they do, but they do it. The only way to make it stop is to either politely mention it or just be rude.

I think its a universal problem. and u may find many solutions/answers from all over the world.
But in my opinion, people who point mistakes in u are really jealous of u. Actually they want to be in Ur place or want to become as good as u r, but they don't have the courage to shift there lives from bad to good.(as it is much difficult for most of the people)
And when they can't get ur place they start finding ways to degrade u, then they wait for you to make mistakes so they can point at u making u feel like u have done blunder.
There thinking is that if can't get up, pull them down.
I hope u understand!

It's easier to find a fault on someone than a good in someone. Everyone does it and I still don't know why.
If the person who never rewards you for the good things is an authoritative figure, then a possible reason is he/she wants to push you to be the best that you can be.

Hey you made a mistake (besides the incorrect spelling of 'you')! I think you meant to write "they are right behind you" and "how bad you're doing" instead of "they right behind you" and "how bad your doin."
You should check your mistakes next time.

Well,I've been through that when I was younger and now that I am grown they still trys to find something bad on me.It's like I'm the black sheep of the family. When I was young I did not know how to handle the situation at all,but now that I'm an adult I just brush it off and then I let go and give it to GOD.I've learned that only GOD can judge me.Parents do not realize that it makes their kids rebell them when they do things like that. What you need to do now is,try to be at your best at all times to show them that you are not the bad person they make you out to be.The only thing you can controll in your life is the decisions and choices that you make.So do your best by making the right one.Just worry about getting your life together and right for the future.Don't let the bad things people say and do to you get you down,,just be a better person by never doing that to anyone.Pray for them and then pray for yourself, after that let go and give it to GOD.What I mean by let go and give it to GOD is,once you pray on it leave it alone and let GOD handle the situation for you, cause he can handle it better than you can.So just sit back and watch what the LORD can do for you.In life everyone is different in their own way,you just need to be the best you can be to show them better.Show them that you are not the bad person they make you out to be.Always be respectful at all times no matter what the situation is and it will take you a long way in life.Believe me,I've been through it before with my family and now that I am grown, they still trys to do that to me,but I let it go in one ear and out the other.I just keep my mouth closed, let them say what they want to say about me,let them think what they want to think about me,feel the way they want to feel about me,and just show them that I am better than what they make me out to be.You might need to try that and see what would happend,It worked for me. Good luck and GOD Bless.
