How can there be a rule of law when we let this happen? Must I pay my taxes? Must I obey the speed limit? Must I obey any laws?

Of course. I will be prosecuted for breaking the speed limit or not paying a parking ticket, yet a non-citizen can come here and sponge off of the system and have no consequence. That is messed up.

Kill the speed limit example because you otherwise had it nailed. The way folks drive around my town, well, I sure wish someone would send me the memo that tells when and where 45 becomes 50-55 and I'm still amazed at watching guys buzz past the highway patrol on the side of the road at 80. Although when I think of the tickets I'd paid, I was usually much closer to the limit when I was caught and almost always at or below that limit, to the dismay of the line behind me.

Otherwise, you are square on. I would love to have five identities and not get arrested for it. But there is a bit of a disadvantage. As an insurance agent several years ago, a customer came in and asked about reporting an injury at a party. After explaining the procedures he decided not to file the claim since the guest might have to identify himself and that was more dangerous than the injury.

We can't just stop obeying laws because some people do. No, they shouldn't be allowed to break laws. They are being found, it will just take time. They will have a hard time finding or keeping a job or housing. They will be leaving by the droves when they don't have paychecks or welfare checks any longer. We are getting our wall, that's something. With all the things in place to deter and find them there will be many choosing to leave on their own.

being able to cheat the system is how i would dare say 80% of the population gets by and makes ends meet in the first place ... there is just alot of self-righteous aholes running around whining about illegals these days because they THINK they have figured out the solution to every american problem today.... the truth of the matter is they havent found the solution to one thing ... nothing.... life will not change or improve one bit for anyone if all the illegals were deported tomorrow ... prices would probably go up ... but the really sad thing is the only thing these actions would accomplish is persecuting a poor group of people and dashing all their hopes and dreams ... they arnt hurting me one bit ... and it has NOTHING whatsoever to do with taxes so educate urselves about that ... most people DO NOT know where there taxes go and how the system works they just say "im a tax-payin american" not even realizing that the SAME system of the kings bank that our founding fathers fought against is why we pay taxes today ... blahhhh but learn it for urselfs u cretans... its easier to just blame it on someone than take responsibility for your own actions....

None as it is not “politically incorrect” to arrest and send any US born citizen to jail. We the people must obey the laws and even though it is against our will, we must financially assist those who do not. What a mess we have created, time to start cleaning it up.

illegal aliens are not allowed to break the law! If they are arrested they will get the exact same punishment as a citizen. It's true our immigration laws are not enforced, and they should be. By they way all of the illegal Mexicans I've met work harder than Americans have good morals and values and are dedicated to their families. They would make excellent Americans!

Here's how that works: we don't want to offend our neighbors to the South, so we let them get away with all kinds of s***, but if we make a single miscue, we get sent away for 99 years and a day. Why? Because we need those illegals in this country. Who else is going to keep us supplied with such necessities as cocaine and marijuana? Not to mention, who's going to pick the lettuce, tomatoes, and spinach (and give us e-coli in the process).

Uh there's about 350,000 to chose from. The average American has broken about 10-15 of those laws at some point in their life. I worked for social services, illegals don't sponge, cause they can't they are required to provide valid proof of citizenship for benefits. There are plenty of US citizens sponging off the system, why don't you complain about them. Write your congressman and urge welfare reform. Educate yourself before you spew the right wing propaganda from Fox.

jenniluv4...Good it's about time we unite as one America.

If your illegal, any law you want to break. It doesn't matter. Just tell them that 'you are looking for a better life'.
