I don't think this problem should divide the parties, as we are both affected negatively by illegal immigration. I am a Republican and see no reason to give people who refuse to follow our rule of law in regards to becoming a legal resident of this country a free ride. I have absolutely nothing against Legal immigration, however, as it is how we became such a world power in the first place..part of what ticks other countries off at us is our ability to still function effectively in spite of our diversity.

I don't think anyone has a problem with people coming to our country legally, it's the ones who hide on board ships or sneak across our boarders ILLEGALLY that we don't approve of hon. Why? Because they should not sneak in to begin with, and if they can sneak in, whose to say someone like a criminal/terrorist does not follow along as well? It is a security issue as well.
Republicans don't flip-flop.....

I agree with you, except it's the Democrats that flip flop, just ask Kerry, first his is for the war, and voted for it now he's against it, he can't stay the course, and a lot of other Dem's voted for it also.
