Alright, guy I have a crush on but we're both just out of long-term relationships so we're keeping it a friendship. Basically he had given me oral sex and I did nothing in return for him. Two days later, he calls me and says he wants to talk to me more. We had spoken about emotions, feelings, etc. Then I see him on campus and we ended up talking more and he hugged me as we parted, saying he'd call me. Three hours later, he texts me and asks "when do you want to hang out?" instead of calling me. Why text and not call?

Texting is more casual so it is easier to do when one has anxiety. also rejection is easier to face when texting that hearing it from the mouth. he probably likes you but he is just unsure about what is going on between the two of you and he is just testing the water, even after oral sex. remember, oral sex doesnt cure anxiety...

I do that myself sometimes. He may have found it easier to ask via text message rather than in person. I would say go hang out with him give him the female charm and make him feel comfortable enough to ask you in person next time. Break his shyness, you can do it girl!

Good Luck.

cause if he called he might end up with nothing to say, and since is just wondering when you wanted to hang out, you could just give a few worded answers. maybe he was afraid that if you were on the phon youd have nothing to say

Maybe he was shy to call you in case you were with someone else or with a friend and he didn't want to put you on the spot by having your friends ask whom it was on the phone ......
it could be just about anything !!!
If you really want to know just ask him !!
Best of luck to you =)
