No, the weight ranges are the same for both men and women. What is different is the body fat percentages. So a man and woman both of 5ft8 may weight the same, but the man's weight would come more from bone and muscle mass and the women's weight would come more from fat and possibly muscle. This works out fine, because a woman is allowed more fat than men. A man should have between 5% and 25% body fat and a woman should have between 12% and 32% body fat. HTH : )

YES rule of thumb 5 foot 100 pounds woman 3-5 pounds for each additional inch depending on body build.

For a man same starting at 5 foot 120 pounds and 5-7 pounds per each additional inch
