Contact U.C. Davis in California. They do amazing things there.
Expect it to be expensive!! Probably 5 or 6 digits. Then there is the antirejection drugs that he will take for the rest of his life. Not cheap. Then after all that, he may die at anytime anyway. Transplanted hearts only last a little while. Not to mention, infections, and surgery complications.
Maybe it won't be the best thing for your poor doggie. Maybe it would be best to let him go and use that money helping hundreds of other of dogs that are healthy. Healthy dogs that are not as fortunate yours to have a loving family.
I know it's hard. So hard to say good bye. Good Luck.

This is terriby hard for you, but think of your dog. A transplant is not something you would want to put any dog that you love through. There's not only the surgery itself, but a very painful recovery. And if he gets through all that, think of what the rest of his life will be like with constant medications and trips to the vet. You owe your dog more than that - you need to put him first, not you.

Sometimes as hard as it is, it's time to say goodbye for unselfish reasons. You are in my thoughts.
