Antichrist?

If there was one person on earth right now that could be the antichrist, who and why?

The spirit of the antichrist has been around thousands of years but it cannot fully reveal itself until the hinderer of lawlessness (which is Christians) has been removed (in the rapture). After they are gone, there will be nothing to hold this spirit back and it can fully reveal itself thru someone who will probably come from the middle eastern area.

Hi jewels. The Antichrist is Satan. But first we need to read some passages from the Bible to understand. God tells us in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15:

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."

God is speaking about these false apostles who will look to the world like a True Believer or an Apostle of Christ (verse 13) As Satan is transformed into an angel of light. These are the many false Apostles today who want to destroy the true church of believers. God confirms who the Antichrist is in 1 John 4:3:

"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

Many people try to predict who the Antichrist will be. But God tells us in the Bible the Antichrist was present when the Bible was being written.

Opray Winfrey could be an antichrist. Why? Because she is
so popular that most people would follow her. Because she
is rich and has money to do whatever she'd want to. Because
she is powerful and it would take someone with power. Because
the Bible says the antichrist would seem like an angel of light, and
she seems too good to be true and even has an "Angel Charity"
or something of that sort. It wouldn't take much for people to
agree with her, follow her, and worship her.

The anti Christ is not a person.

It is a term that is meant to be descriptive of the way certain pseudo Christians pretend to be followers of Jesus. People like Pat Robertson and Jerry Fallwell, They are a minority, but they are so vocal they drown out the rest.

Jesus always stood for a loving, inclusive, nonjudgmental approach to his fellow man.

The bigot pseudo Christians see their brand of Christianity as an exclusive club from which they judge all others as being unworthy of any fate other than burning in hell.

Their actions are almost the exact opposite of what Jesus Christ taught.

Hence the name antichrist, or opposite of Christ.

i suppose so.....the antichrist is going to come out of the middle east though....in revelation it mentions where the antichrist will rise from (of course, in the Bible it will give the name of the area as it was in ancient times, so you'll have to do some research)
