I really like this guy, and I've been planning to ask him to the Sadie Hawkin's dance. He always makes a point to talk to me... like if he's walking with his friends he'll turn around and talk to me... He asks about my life, like how sports are going and stuff. We played basketball 1 on 1 and when we got into teams, he would always tickle me when I was on defense to try and mess me up... and also, today he asked me what i was doing this weekend, and i just said nothing. Then this other girl was like, "He wants to go out with you." and she kept on saying, "Just ask her out!" but I was right there and I don't know if she was talking about me! I didn't think she would be so obvious... but what if it WAS me she was talking about? Do you think he likes me?

Well, he definitely likes you. I don't know if he is interested, though. So what? He seems really nice, and definitely likes you. You should ask him, because he does like you.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

If you're not sure, then you make the first move. Ask him to that dance, the worst thing he can say is no, right?! But if he does, show him it dosen't bother you or he'll turn away and never look at you again. Just say, oh, that's cool, just thought i'd ask, maybe i'll see you there-then go with a bunch of girls. Sometimes hangen out with the girls more fun anyways. Good luck

the only way to know for sure is ask him to the dance before someone else gets to him cause then you'll regret it really badly so just do it and if he says no then no big deal there r plenty other fish in the sea lol
