Take a cold 2 liter bottle of Ginger Ale and a cold can of Hawaiian Punch or other punch (whatever color you want) and pour them together into a punch bowl. Add several scoops of sherbet. Sorry, I don't know how many it serves. I guess as many as a bottle of pop and a can of juice would serve.

2 Liter lemon lime soda.
1/2 Gallon orange sherbet.
1 Can frozen orange juice concentrat
Defrost the can of oj and pour into large punch bowl with lemon lime soda. Scoop orange sherbet into the punch bowl. The orange sherbet doesn't keep it cold enough for you add some ice too.
Depending how thirsty the ladies are, I would say this can serve close to 20 people.

Baby Blue Punch
1 gallon BLUE Hawaiian Punch
1 (2 liter) 7-up or sprite
rainbow sherbert
Mix hawaiian punch and 7-up.
Add round scoops of sherbert.
If you have time, you can make sherbert balls ahead of time (about the size of cookie dough on a pan) and freeze them so they are hard. This way the sherbert will not melt as quickly in your punch.

A very good punch for a baby shower is:
girl (pink)
1 large(very large) tub of vanilla ice cream~let it soften before use
1 2-liter of strawberry soda(minute maid is good)
1 pkg frozen crushed strawberries(with juice)~let thaw before use
First you add most of the ice cream, it depends on the size of your punch bowl! Then you add the strawberries and the soda. You want it to be kinda thick but it's up to you how much soda you use~it turns out good no matter how much of anything above you add! Lastly, you mix! This punch turns out pink and is good for a girl shower but I have used it for boy showers as well~it is always a big hit!
This one is blue (boy)
1 (0.13 ounce) package blue, berry flavored unsweetened drink mix
1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 (64 fluid ounce) bottle white cranberry juice
8 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup white sugar, or to taste
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
In a large punch bowl, stir together the drink mix, lemon-lime soda, and white cranberry juice. Taste, and stir in sugar to your liking. (I like to add the whole cup.) Float scoops of ice cream on the top. The ice cream melts somewhat and turns the punch a beautiful baby blue color with frothy white clouds floating on the top.

half a gallon of orange sherbet to two liters of gingerale.
THis is always served at weddings and baby showers.
How many it serves depends on how many times they go back.
If they dont go back that should serve about ten.
