...I am a born-agan believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I have been a Christian for 28 years
...What a neat question - I really did some digging for this one, but what fun.
...I think this is my all-time favorite. It has Scripture throughout it, and tells about how great we serve.
GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father.
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not;
As Thou has been Thou forever wilt be.
Chorus:
Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. (Chorus)
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! (Chorus)

This hymn reminds me of my marvelous Savior, His passion, and His return for us.
HALLELUJAH, WHAT A SAVIOR !
"Man of Sorrows," what a name
For the Son of God who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim!
Hallelujah! what a Savior!
Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood;
Sealed my pardon with His blood;
Hallelujah! what a Savior!
Guilty, vile, and helpless. we,
Spotless Lamb of God was He;
Full redemption--can it be?
Hallelujah! what a Savior!
Lifted up was He to die,
"It is finished!" was His cry;
Now in heaven exalted high;
Hallelujah! what a Savior!
When He comes, our glorious King,
All His ransomed home to bring,
Then anew this song we'll sing
Hallelujah! what a Savior!
************************************************************
I have always like this one. I sang in church as a kid and later on saw the Scripture. I love the hopeful ending – I anticpate being in “His garner evermore.”
"COME YE THANKFUL PEOPLE, COME"
1. Come, ye thankful people, come;
Raise the song of Harvest-home.
All be safely gathered in
Ere the winter storms begin;
God, our Maker, doth provide
For our wants to be supplied,
Come to God's own temple, come;
Raise the song of Harvest-home.
2. All the world is God's own field,
Fruit unto His praise to yield;
Wheat and tares together sown,
Unto joy or sorrow grown;
First the blade and then the ear,
Then the full corn shall appear.
Lord of harverst, grant that we
Wholesome grain and pure may be.
3. For the Lord, our God, shall come
And shall take His harvest home;
From His field shall in that day
All offences purge away;
Give His angels charge at last
In the fire the tares to cast,
But the fruitful ears to store
In His garner evermore.
4. Even so, Lord, quickly come
To Thy final Harvest-home;
Gather Thou Thy people in,
Free from sorrow, free from sin,
There, forever purified,
In Thy garner to abide.
Come with all Thine angels, come,
Raise the glorious Harvest-home.

This was my dad’s favorite. Whenever I hear it, I get teary-eyed, thinking of him strolling around Heaven, waiting for us to join him.
BE THOU MY VISION
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul's Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.
Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.
************************************************************
I love this majestic, flowing hymn that tells of Jesus’s love and care for His own.
O THE DEEP, DEEP LOVE OF JESUS
O the deep, deep love of Jesus,
Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of Thy love
Leading onward, leading homeward to Thy glorious rest above!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best!
'Tis an ocean vast of blessing, 'tis a haven sweet of rest!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, 'tis a heaven of heavens to me;
And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Thee!

This song holds very strong feelings for me, this is the song that reminded me of the truth that was restored in this last dispensation. This is a Latter-Day Saint Hymn
292
O My Father
Fervently
31243, LDS Hymns, O My Father, no. 292
1. O my Father, thou that dwellest
In the high and glorious place,
When shall I regain thy presence
And again behold thy face?
In thy holy habitation,
Did my spirit once reside?
In my first primeval childhood
Was I nurtured near thy side?
2. For a wise and glorious purpose
Thou hast placed me here on earth
And withheld the recollection
Of my former friends and birth;
Yet ofttimes a secret something
Whispered, “You’re a stranger here,”
And I felt that I had wandered
From a more exalted sphere.
3. I had learned to call thee Father,
Thru thy Spirit from on high,
But, until the key of knowledge
Was restored, I knew not why.
In the heav’ns are parents single?
No, the thought makes reason stare!
Truth is reason; truth eternal
Tells me I’ve a mother there.
4. When I leave this frail existence,
When I lay this mortal by,
Father, Mother, may I meet you
In your royal courts on high?
Then, at length, when I’ve completed
All you sent me forth to do,
With your mutual approbation
Let me come and dwell with you.
Text: Eliza R. Snow, 1804–1887
Music: James McGranahan, 1840–1907
Romans 8:16–17
Acts 17:28–29 (22–31)

This hymn was written after two major traumas in Spafford’s life. The first was the great Chicago Fire of October 1871, which ruined him financially (he had been a wealthy businessman). Shortly after, while crossing the Atlantic, all four of Spafford’s daughters died in a collision with another ship. Spafford’s wife Anna survived and sent him the now famous telegram, “Saved alone.” Several weeks later, as Spafford’s own ship passed near the spot where his daughters died, the Holy Spirit inspired these words. They speak to the eternal hope that all believers have,
no matter what pain and grief befall them on earth. When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Refrain
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.
Refrain
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
Refrain
For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:
If Jordan above me shall roll,
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul.
Refrain
But, Lord, ‘tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh trump of the angel! Oh voice of the Lord!
Blessèd hope, blessèd rest of my soul!
Refrain
And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
Refrain
You can here the tune at the link below
Ooh Yah, I am Christian.

I am a Born again blood bought Christian that is about 10 years old in Christ...I have so many favorites but I especially like the song "you are my King" (some might think it is called Amazing love) but here are the lyrics...
...I'm forgiven because you were forsaken, I'm accepted , you were condemned..I'm alive and well your spirit is within me because you died and rose again.
Chorus: Amazing Love how can it be that you my king would die for me, amazing love I know it's true and it's my joy to honor you in all I do I honor you..Amazing Love
repeat first verse... then chorus again..then first verse again...it is soft and mellow and think of it as a love song to Christ.

"Here I am" Is my very most fav. because it touches me every time I hear it and urges me to do more. I also like "Amazing Grace" because it is very moving. "I'll Fly Away" rocks for me cause it is very promising. I know there are tons more like Blessed Assurance and Trust and Obey. I have a family member that right hymns, and a family full of musicians that play and sing praises, so I know too many to think of a fav!!

Born-Again Christian
Praise Adonai: Who is like Him; the Lion and the Lamb; seated on the throne. Mountains bow down; every ocean roars; to the Lord of Hosts.
Here I am: Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that you're my God.
Holy is the Lord: Holy is the Lord, God almight, the earth is filled with His glory.
How Great is Our God: Age to age He stands; and time is in His hands; Beginning and the End; Beginning and the End. The God-head, three in one; Father, Spirit, Son...

I have so many hymns, spirituals and other songs that I LOVE. However, there is this one Praise & Worship song that I always find myself singing in the store, car, supermarket, etc. I forget the name, but the refrain is:
"I want to see You high and lifted up, standing in the light of Your glory. Pour out Your power and love, as we sing holy, holy, holy. Holy, holy, holy. Holy, holy, holy. I want to see You!"
That just about says it all, doesn't it?
Oh, I also love Deliverance Is Available & Because of Who You Are by Vicki Yohe, Alabaster Box by CeCe Winans, anything by Donnie McClurkin and the list goes on and on. There are just too many to name.

Breathe
Written by: Marie Barnett
This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your holy presence living in me
This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very word spoken to me
And I, I'm desperate for you
And I, I'm lost without you
