So my friend, "Pamela", likes this guy named "Rick". They are really a great couple. Oh and Rick likes her too.
Now rick has a friend named "sam", and I Think sam is really cool...and he's really nice and cute etc.
Pamela MIGHT get a little bit....edgy if i go after sam, so i'm not sure what to do exactly. I would hate to lose our friendship over freshman guys...lol
So what would you do? flirt w/ sam, or let it be?

Hmmm. I think there shouldn't be any problem for her if u go after him. She doesn't like Sam, right? Why wouldn't your own friend want you to be with this cool guy? I guess you should just flirt and see what happens. You can't know what's next if you don't take a little risk. If she is really your friend, she wouldn't ever destroy a friendship for a guy that she doesn't even like. Maybe you don't really like this Sam guy that much after all, but you've got to be sure of that first. Go After Him!

If Pam already has Rick then she has no dibs on Sam, unless Rick has Sam on a leash I don't see where Pam has any say at all,unless she wants Sam too.It realy should be about what Sam and you want ,anyway.So flirt with Sam if it makes you happy.

why exactly would pam care about u going after sam? if shes your friend she should be happy for you....if she likes rick then she shouldnt have a problem with u and sam dating UNLESS she secretly likes sam ;)

Let it be.... men are never what they seem to be... never loose a friend over a friendship. trust me friends are very hard to come by. Would you want her to do it to you? Just ask her what she thinks? The worst she could say is stay away.. Then you know.
