i had my braces removed last week and i was really happy with my results. I did have to have my 2 bottom teeth in the front filed down to be even. After the grinding and filing i've been having a lot of pain in one of my teeth. it feels like a nerve or something but i'm not sure is this normal? if so, how long should it last and what can i do to help? I AM GOING BACK TO THE ORTHO. TUES.

You could just be having some sensitivity which is normal, sometimes after you have a tooth adjusted down you can feel like you are getting a zinging feeling. You could try using some sensitivity toothpaste that might help.

Actually about 15 years ago I had the same issue with my bottom teeth being filed after i got braces off and yes, the pain is excruciating, but with Tylenol it did go away. don't worry, if you had a cavity there, I'm sure your ortho dr. would have pointed it out.

At least phone your dentist and ask about it. after having anything done to your teeth they can be sensitive. Give it 24 hours then see.
