There are a lot of ways to lighten your hair. In addition to lemon juice, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, there are many herbs that will change the color of your hair. You would have to list your natural hair color and type to get the best results, but here are some general links:

I heard lemon juice can be used to lighten your hair. Just put it where you want the highlights and go sit in the sun for a while. You'll probably have to do it for a while until you get the results that you want.

peroxide for about an hour or so depending how light you want it regardless your going to need to go to the store and keep it oiled but all hair products have some form of peroxide in them but it may and may not dry your hair out best if you put it in a spray bottle and part your hair sprat evenly in each party comb through and then spray entire head again well whatever you do just put a whole whole lot and stay in the sun for better results

Yes there certainly is, of course lemon juice can be one option, but also you can use straight peroxide(not dilluted with water). I had highlighted my hair and actually looked awesome, just like a salon.
Good Luck!!!

Lemon juice do work, however, it takes some time and effort to do it. I recommend hydrogen peroxide, and save your lemon for salmon.
