Someone told me that a Suiter is only for mens suits.

You can pack them in a suiter, but if you need to fold them in a suitcase place sheets of large flat white tissue paper (same as the sheets of paper used to line gift boxes) on the fabric before you fold. That helps reduce wrinkles from the suitcase.
