A recent episode of Mythbusters tested this particular myth. They sealed off a room and began filling the room with artificial 'gas' to see how long it would take to reach lethal levels. What they found is that it would be impossible to die by breathing in your own emissions, even in an environment completely devoid of air circulation.

No, Metane gas is a Human-Produced Gas. It is impossible for someone to Die from their own Flatulence. Did you know that Methane Gas (Flatulence) is Flammable?
