i used to have braces and the same problem would happen to me! but there IS a solution...cut your food, don't bite! cut it up to bite size and just toss it in your mouth and chew away! this also works for hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, any kind of food that u love but requires biting...I hope I helped!!!

Unfortunately, this is one of the downsides to braces, and there isn't much you can do except to wait it out. But keep in mind that the braces are only on for a while -- but you'll have a great smile for a lifetime and be able to eat all the pizza you want. Then, you'll share another problem -- one endured by the rest of the world. The cheese stretches out to an enormous big thread and lodges on your chin. Pizza is great -- but it's difficult to eat, with or without braces.

Hey, i used to have the same problem when i had braces. Theres really not much you can do about it besides eat the foods that wont get stuck in there... Or carry around a toothbrush or floss, ya some people might think its dorky but whats wrong with good breath and clean teeth right? And by the way, your teeth are gonna look amazing after they take them off, i love my smile and i get complimented on it every day.

Talk to your orthodontist. Are you new at braces? I think that over time, you learn how to eat a little differently to keep the food out of your train tracks.

Good luck honey ;)

omg! i dont usually answer questions i dont know something first hand off of...but your answers so far r ridiculous! my daughter is doing TIME w braces. just feel better that u people are only doing a fifth of the time WE did in my time! i joke about her time as a trial period. live it up and luv it. but....dont forget to take care of the teeth u are trying to save! i knew people who had 2 pull the teeth they were trying 2 straighten because the teeth were uncared 4 enough by regular attention. u need to be REALLY careful!.

well...

i'm not going to lie. braces are ONE BIG PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!

i have a small brush that cleans in between my brackets. ask your orthodontist about it. mine gave me one and i still cant eat things like corn on the cob, but its simple to clean in between with a brush.

there is always going to be a hassle with braces. i wish i could find some other way to help...

any soft foods you love? lol

My Aunt went into a comma and was fed IVs through a tube. Or maybe you could just wait out the three years that you'll have braces, because I don't think there's any way around it.

if u don't want it in your bottom ones, bite w/ your tongue and top teeth, if that does not work there is no other way sorry.
