If you want your picture to appear on yahoo answers, you'll have to create a yahoo 360 page. Go to http://360.yahoo.com/ and set up a "page" of your own. Click on Personal Photos or go to http://upload.360.yahoo.com/edit/photos.html and upload your picture. When you select your picture as primary, this will later already replace your avatar.
This takes about a minute to complete and seems to be the only way to do it. =)

By getting that 360 page. Then you can link a picture from there to here.
