I have thick, goldie-hawn style bangs. And I love it.
Another inspiration is Stevie Nicks for bangs (look at her older pics, she tends to have a more straight fringe now)
Another is Jane Seymour
Thing is, bangs take gettin used to, and you have to learn how to tame them down when they get unruly and want ot bend the other way. But they're great for styling versatility

The longer bangs wore to the side is in right now. Kinda like Paris Hiltons hair. Short bangs straight across is out.
