Lets say you like a boy, and you've been liking him for quite a while now, and he knows. But he still hasnt made a move. I mean I really like this guy alot! And i know he likes me too, but he seems like he's afraid to make the first move, or to ask me out. We talk and flirt, but nothing more. Other guys ask me out, but he's the one I want over everybody else. Should I wait for him, or move on and try and forget about him?...

Trust me, I'm in a similar situation in many ways. There's many possibilities. One, the guy likes you but he's still a little shy or not sure he's ready to go on to have a relationship with anyone. Two, he enjoys your company and people DO like people that like them, so maybe he's just having fun and being friendly.
If you think he's someone you want over anyone else, then you don't need an answer to "should" you move on. If you care about him more than anyone, I'd suggest giving him time. Talk to him, get to know him, and keep up the flirting (but nothing serious because if you seem desperate, guys -do- get paranoid). Sometimes, time is all you need to answer most of lifes questions.

Okay you said this was for the girls but hear me out...
Why does he have to make the move? Don't be so stereotypical, if you want it to go some where and he aint moving then you need to crank the gears yourself. Ask him, confront him, a girl who makes the first move is not a whore, and an intelligent guy will respect you for not being marred and restrained by the rest of society, get off your *** and tell him!

ok, imagine this....he leaves tomorrow and you never asked him out, but he's gone. Now its too late and you'll always wonder what might have been-if anything...
how crappy would that make u feel?
Better to ask him now, you only really regret the things you dont do. believe me! I liked a guy, knew he liked me but i didnt say anything as i was too shy. couplea weeks later he died in a road accident and i still think back and how things might have been different....just go for it, dont wait for him. watever happens , at least you will know and not have regrets in the future. we only live once!
To make it easier, write ur number down on a bit of paper. Go up to him wen he's alone and just give it to him. Explain you just wanted to give it to him as he seems really nice. If he wats to text you that'd be cool, but otherwise you'll see him l8r and either way its ok. The other one i use is 'i really enjoy embarassing myself so thort id give you my number!'
plus getting sumones number is a lot harder and more embarassing i find...this way your able to flee quickly!

try the hidden opition of u going for him. ask him if he likes u, but completely honest. u'll get an honset response, and he'll probably end up asking u out. if he really doesn't like u, move on. don't waste life away waiting for something that will nvr b (ive learned that from experience)

Why don"t you strike up a conversation, Like ask him how his day is going? or write down your phone number, or email address, and say give me a call. If he calls, then I guess he will be interested, if not forget about him, go out and have some fun, with your friends!

well if you really like this guy and youre positive he likes you back, you should try to make the first move. i know its hard, trust me, i am the last person who will ever make the first move. never have in my life, but if you really are sure...go for it.

I know that its rare for ladies to do this but ask him out. Both of you guys feel that if you two take it to a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship your friendship would be messed up

Just go for it and ask him our yourself. Ask for his phone number or something, and start talking to him more. Then ask him out! If he says no....then you can take one of those other guys!
