I would. Don't know if you're a guy or gal, but if you're a guy, just reverse the gender roles of the following:
There's an old Shelly Berman comedy routine that goes something like this:
You go out to dinner with a date that you really want to like you, so everytime he says something, you agree wholeheartedly and SMILE.
All through dinner, you converse and give him that big SMILE.
When he drops you off, he shakes hands, says goodnight, and hops in his car.
You go inside, you look in the mirror, wonder what's wrong with you, and SMILE. And there's a big leaf of spinach stuck in your front teeth.

YES!! No matter how embarassing or uncomfortable the situation might be for you to speak up, wouldn't you want someone to tell you if you had something in YOUR teeth, instead of walking around with broccoli (or whatever ) in them?

If I am close (relation) to the person I'll tell them.
If I know that the person will be embarassed really soon if I don't tell them, then I'll tell them.
If the person is a smart-azz that thinks they know everything, I'll tell them just to piss them off.
If it looks like the particle may come off soon, I won't tell them.
If the person is pretty concsious of their appearance, I won't tell them because I know they will check pretty soon anyway.

Yes, because I would want someone to let me know if I did. If I did have such an encounter I don't know if I really would say something or not.

Yes you do. Most people would want to know. And it's less embarrassing if one person notices then a whole office full or room full of people.

Yes but only if I know them well, if not, I would feel bad to tell them in case I embarrassed them.

Absolutely. Wouldn't you want to know? Besides, they will find out eventually , be embarrassed anyway, and know you DIDN'T tell them!

as embarrassing as it may be, i would prefer that the person tell me instead of going home and wondering how many people saw me. that's even more embarrassing.
