What about the people that are from different religions(which have different rules, right?), but because we all worship the same god, wouldn't that make some religions wrong? It's hard to explain what I am thinking in my head...lol. Ok, like, Im baptist and we have the 10 commandments, right?! Well, I would assume that not all religions feel the same way about that. Wouldn't that make either my religion or their religion wrong, and wouldn't God see them as not abiding by them, I mean, if in fact they don't believe in them, anyways. Do you understand? If not let me know I will repost another question.
Geez, this is so confusing! I am very confused.

And how do I know what religions are safe to believe in...or does it even matter? I believe and I have a relationship with him, I just need to know these things.

Big problem, Baptists teach falsely that faith is all you need. They have led many people astray with this teaching. The scriptures tell us there is ONE WAY, not many. John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Faith alone IS NOT ENOUGH! Matt. 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who do what my Father in heaven wants will enter. 22 “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord! Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we drive out demons in your name? Didn’t we do many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them clearly, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who do evil!’

The book of Acts tells us of the beginnings of Christianity and the church. Read Peter's first gospel sermon beginning in Acts 2:14. How are we saved? The answer is still the same as he gave in Acts 2:38. EVERY TIME the scriptures tell of someone becoming a Christian they are told to do the same thing. Baptism was ALWAYS IMMEDIATE, NOT something to do later when it was more convenient.

Look for a TRUE non-denominational church. Many churches that claim to be non-denominational really are not. They should rely solely on scripture as their basis for truth. - Baptists usually teach a lot of Calvin's false doctrine. Email me and I'll send you some more information. I'm glad to see you seem to be searching for TRUTH. KEEP IT UP!

I would have to say your partly correct. Many Religions are simply wrong. (Like Islam) Being of a Protestant nature myself. Many denominations believe in the true Gospels with confusing views on Minor issues. But, even the First Church's had the same problem. Example in Galatians Paul had to explain circumcision to them. You need not be in order to be saved like that Church was preaching. Do not think anyone can know the whole truth of every thing in the Bible. Some that is in there is reveled by God. Which is why unbelievers have such a hard time reading and understanding the Bible. It is a foreign language to them.

you're right, it is a little confusing but.... not sure if you're thinking religions or denominations?! religions don't necessarily worship the same God so they wouldn't have the same commandments. other denomnations DO worship the same God, just with different practices. i'm catholic and a good friend is baptist. when we first met and were talking about faith he'd always tell me i was wrong about this or that - they famous - show me that in scripture that the catholics often get in concordance with their beliefs. when i would show him chapter and verse - he understood more where i was coming from. kind of like - if right now were were standing side by side and God turned out all the lights and said - turn to your right and walk straight - follow Me. we would both turn - one north and one south - we would walk forward. eventually we would end our journey and end up right next to one another. we walked in different paths but the journey was the same and we ended up in the same place. so.... since one walked north and the other south - who followed God's word -- we both did!
not sure if that had only lead to confuse you more but.... maybe it'll at least help you formulate the words in your head?!?
God bless!

if you believe and have a relationship with God - follow what He tells you, go where He guides you. it may take a while to find a good fit, just never stop learning, questioning and believing!

GOOD NEWS!

You're beginning to see the light, sister! Religion's confusing you! A good sign. I understand you perfectly though!

Think about it. If what you say about the same god, that some religions have to be wrong (which ones?) is right, AND IT IS, rest assured, you're on the right track.

Keep it up. Don't let people tell you what's right or wrong, THINK FOR YOURSELF!

Peace & love to you!

Neither religion is actually wrong...... The different aspects and beliefs are just a way that certain faiths compare their mundane life to divinity. I am pagan and believe in earth cycles and many gods. This is wrong to some people, but it is just MY way of connecting with the divine.... Hope it helps...:)

In a nutshell, each religion states something more or less different. So, how could all of them be right, and which one IS right? That's your question, right?

Well, nobody knows, really. Everybody has AN answer, which means nobody has THE answer. Follow your instincts.

I think what you are asking is, which religion is correct and is the true religion? In other words is Jesus real or is Allah real?

Well, we could all be wrong and we could all be right. There could be both Jesus and Allah and their could be neither, and the actual God may be something else altogether. It all depends on what you believe and no one can prove that you are wrong and they are right or vice versa.

i develop right into a Christian, even with the indisputable fact that the added I discovered about that faith, the added it contradicted itself. i tried to break it right down to that's roots, even as nevertheless holding onto Jesus being Messiah. even as i began searching into so-said as Messianic prophecy I saved looking issues that folk declare are messianic, yet the position there is not any indication in the textual content that that's prophetic in any respect, or that it applies to one individual. i assumed that truly there should be prophecies that he fulfilled, yet as I had examine the bible in a marginally disciplined way, I knew of prophecies that were blatantly Messianic, yet have not been fulfilled. That develop into the finest straw; there have been such fairly some issues that were in simple terms untenable. the concept of infinite torment, case in point; and the idea of a guy being God. I examine and compared 3 translations of the Tao Te Ching, and it has represents non secular truth; and particular factors of the very nature of God some distance extra perfect than some thing i'd ever heard in church. i found my thanks to Rabbinical teachings, about monotheism, and the three covenants, which develop into very exciting to me. I had already enable bypass of Christianity through then, yet, it might want to were the finest nail in the coffin. Judaism were so badly misrepresented to me (that's critical to misrepresent Judaism to help Christian theology, you spot.) i develop into surprised to locate the vastness of non secular truth and divine connection that exists outdoors of Christianity. i detect that Rabbinical monotheism makes some distance extra sense than some thing I ever heard in Christianity. i do not imagine that any particular faith has all and ideal truth; yet from my explorations, almost each and every faith has extra non secular intensity and truth than Christianity does.

not all religions have a God or gods. You are only thinking about Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Buddhism, Paganism and Hinduism have completely different "rules".

The baptist ins't thecorrect religion either. The closest to the original is a tossup between some of the orthodox and the messianic religions.
