It seems likely at this point.
There is legal immigration and illegal immigration and because we are supposedly a country who embraces justice...there has to be control and checks/balances on immigration.
However, and this is a point I think too many of us are forgetting right now, the USA is not only about justice, but LIBERTY too. For ALL. We are a nation founded by the idea that we can take everyone from other nations and be one UNITED, great nation. So, no, I do not think immigration is illegal, it is in fact, the very founding fact that make us a country.
I recently visited the Statue of Liberty for the first time. I read, reread, and read again these words:
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles.
From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she with silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
This is America.

You mean students rioting over the Democrats War in the 60s or do you mean the riots in Chicago with Democratic Mayor Daley because of the Democratic National Convention? I don't know, ever since the libs took over that party, there seems to be a lack of backbone, so I doubt it.

The people that are watching, listening, and getting ready.. are the same people that turned over the police cars back in the 60's..
We're not a vicious lot... really!!
Oh, I should add here, I married a Nam Vet.. and our sons went off to war..

Those rioting in the 60s were citizens with a right to be here. Riots by people illegally here can be summarily dealt with through deportation.

I tell ya what--if the republicans win back the senate and the house again you will see a draft. Those who are against the draft will rise up and join the immigration movement and then you may see some riots.

the riots of the early 60's had merit behind them. these illegal rallies dont.
