I have the same hair color with natural highlights, but it depends on your complexion as well, you don't want to look horrible. I have a fair complexion so let me just list what has worked for me in my hair dying days.....
I've died my hair dark auburn before and it looked great especially in the winter and with fair complexion.
black- with a blue tone, looked awesome!
Red- Looks great all yr round. Especially if you add some Carmel highlights.
Cant do blond, one time I tried and it just turned like an orange-ish red.
I would have to say my favorite was the dark auburn. But for light Brown hair and fair to medium complexion any auburn color works.

If it's naturally that color don't do anything to it. But if you are going to dye it, you want to find another color that will compliment and not cover the colors you already have.

You should have a stylist look at your hair to see what condition it is in to make dure that any color that you have does not wreck your hair.

I would talk to a stylist. They would know what colors would look on you and how to keep your hair healthy.

You shouldn't. Keep it bright and shiny and in good condition and your head will look like sunshine. Girl, with good highlights, you have it all. Don't mess with Mother Nature. Believe me, I know.

that depends on you - what's your complexion? Would dark hair make you look better or make you look dead? Would light hair look good or bad?

Can't tell you what to choose.
