he says he likes this one girl but he also says he likes me...i really like him and he knows that but why wont he ask me out? does he like the other girl more than me or is there another reason? how am i supposed to no?!?!?

If he like someone else then I think you should find someone else who is going to like you and only you. He may never be faithful to you if he knows someone else likes him. especially if the other girl is pretty too.

The thing with guys, and I'm sure with girls too, is that they can like more than one person at a time. Sometimes, one girls on their mind and other times, it's someone else. Unless they've really fallen hard, or unless they're extremely confused about how they feel, it's likely there'll be another girl in the picture at some point.
If he hasn't asked you out, there's a few possibilities. One, like you said maybe he likes the other girl more or he just feels more chemistry. Two, maybe he thinks you've suddenly lost interest or started showing interest in someone else. Or three, maybe he's the type that likes the girl to ask him out.
There is no way to know. Some guys may act like they like you but are naturally good at that form of body language. Other guys, act like they like you and mean it, but sometimes they're body language and actions give it away when they don't even know it themselves.
Basically, you have to ask him. Asking him yourself is always better because it shows you care enough to ask yourself and not get a friend to do it. But that sort of thing is difficult, I know firsthand, so sometimes you have to think how you'll word it. But in the end it all comes down to the same thing. If asking him isn't your cup of tea, wait for awhile. Patience is key. Sometimes it takes forever for a guy to make his move, but if he's worth it, you'll find it easy to wait.
