The exact same thing happened to my daughter and it was frightening! You need to talk to your folks so they are aware of the situation and if they feel it would be a good idea, file a report with the police and see if you can get a restraining order. You and your folks should talk to your boyfriend's folks to get their take on it, then if needed, talk to her and her parents. Watch your steps that you aren't in a position where she can bother you, she will eventually move on when she sees you are going on with your life; she really has a problem and it isn't yours. Don't let her rob your joy.

Call her, email her, confront her in person, but do NOT threaten her in anyway. Inform her that you're sure she doesn't it mean anything by it but what she is doing is creeping you out. Then go on to tell her in no uncertain terms that you will file a restraining order against her, and do exactly that (usually costs around $60, I think). In the meantime, call your local police station and your campus police, and any other law enforcement agency you can think of (city, county, etc) and complain about her. Have a description of her and her car (with license plate number). Even if you don't take out a restraining order you will learn a lot about it and some of these cops may spot her and, just out of boredom, make their presence known to her, if you know what I mean.
Do not let her think you are afraid of her. Stalkers are creepy, period. Why would anyone think that would be an effective way to win a boyfriend back is beyond me.
Good luck

You need to go to the POLICE. Their are laws against stalking. I don't know the details, but you need to find out from the police what you need to do. You never know what she is going to do and you don't want to find out. Some people just can't let go and need help. Don't take measures into your own hands. Let the police ask her why she is following you. Good Luck!!

Don't threaten her and give her a heads up - call the police and tell them she is stalking you and you want a police protection order put against her.

as long as she isn't doing anything threatening, why do you let her get to you so much? the only thing you can do is confront her. but then again, it isn't a crime to be in your neighborhood.
