Count me as an Admirer.....I know I'm a white guy in his 20s, but I just have to say it
I LIKE black women (though not exclusively).....Women are women, but it never appears that black women respond romantically to white guys.
And NO, I'm not bitter about women of other races,---I just feel that African-American women get such a bad rap in the media (hence BET, "booty-shakin' videos", etc.) and what's on TV doesnt accurately represent ALL black women.
In fact, I see attractive sophisticated and modest black women all the time whose personality, looks and demeanor are nothing like the stereotypes we hear everyday---
Just wanted to let you all know that.
And in Case you are wondering why I posted these comments,...it's because I recently had a discussion with a friend who says he thinks Black Women are at the "bottom of the barrel"----NOT at all true, ladies.

I am a black women and to be honest, I basically LOVE all men but white males I think mainly because they are so sweet most of the time. They do what it is that they have to do to treat their woman right. Don't get me wrong,every white male is not like this. Thank you for showing that you care about black women by noticing that all of us in general are not about music videos. You friend is being judgmental, that's all he's about. Again,thanks.

I agree,
I was just watching a movie were there young ladies shaking there booties.
The fact is that real mature black women want something out of life, we know that just because God blessed our women to have some of the best bodies in the world, doesn't mean we have to show it off.
Us black women use our minds just as well as we use our minds. It's just that the women using their bodies are the ones on tv, not our doctors, lawyers, CEO, College Deans, etc.
I'm so happy that you recognize our beauty, not just the "beauty" that is portrayed across the TV. But also the beauty in our hearts, the unconditional and deep love we have for our families, children, and God. And our intellegence.
I'll keep you in my prayers and I hope you find that special lady (white or black)
Also as I've gotten older I've learned to not judge a person by color, so I'm totally open to race. If a cute white guy walked up to me and asked for my number I would give it to him and even start a relationship if there was chemistry

Lets' face it woman are woman, men are men some white men are ganstas some are buisness men, some black men are rappers and some are doctors some white woman are hoe's some are sophisticated some black woman shake booty some just plain don't. What i'm tryna say is that it doesn't make it seem like all black woman are wild out like that, itz just that black people are people nun the less what ever we do we are by no means any differnt then white people Asain, Tamil, or Indian. In other words maybe thats the way you veiw how the world looks at black woman, but really they don't. just go to church and you'll see. Y'heard

Not to offend you in any shape or form so I apologize in advance. Black women are treated like crap by white males sometimes and most white guys see a black woman as a sexual conquest before they get up with a white woman for something more serious. If you notice black women are angry because they're sick of men using and abusing them especially white guys who are looking just for a sexual conquest. Most white women are trying to be like us by getting the bigger boobs, booty implants, and other kinds of cosmetic surgery. Tanning until they look like a well done NY strip steak and most white women don't realize they don't age well whereas black women can hold it together in time. White women have what you call a cute period from 14-30 after that some of them look a bit on the broke down side that's if most of them havent hit up on the dermatologist for routine Botox shots where most black women are comfortable and arent so prone to getting stuff nipped, sucked, and tucked.
Your friend should be happy to know that most white guys are bottom of the barrel when it comes to d*ck size since few white guys are packing well down below. Since your friend seems to think so low of black women to consider them bottom of the barrel. At least black women are naturally blessed with features that they don't have to purchase from a plastic surgeon and are sexy in their own way. I hope that you'll give a black woman a chance to show you she's a good catch and will make a good girlfriend and maybe wife to you. Ignorant white guys bother me when they believe the myth of black women being good in bed when they need to stop listening to BS.

Well, I'm a black woman that loves white men. Actually, I love all men... I'm one who doesn't discriminate based on race, color, creed, or religion LOL. Anyway, just wanted to say that there are some black women totally into interracial dating and relationships. My husband is NOT black :) and I love him more than life itself! My family also loves and accepts him, and our relationship. His family totally loves and accepts me too! Life is just grand for us... and we like it that way!
In the end, personality always overshadows the outside physical appearance anyway. Thanks for being an admirer. Your friend was not being very nice to make that "bottom of the barrel" comment. :( All women are beautiful! Jeez, doesn't everybody realize that??? LOL!

thnx goodness u pointed out that booty shaking thing--I'm getting tired of ppl thinking I'm gonna be like that when I'm an actress.
but i like ne race of a guy jus as long as he knows how to treat a girl & is nice. In fact i dunt even have a jealousy problem when i see different races dating. Just as long as its real love that comes that they have for each other

I have noticed that white men that are interested in black women sometimes try to act too ethnic. Try being yourself. Approach us with class and set your standards high.

There are many black women that are successful. It's good to know that you're not racist, being a minority myself (Latino), I know how it feels to be judged.
