Grandparents do not fly. Plus I would like my family and friends to meet his family and friends. I am afraid two events would not allow that. Is it wrong to say this is my wedding and I want everyone to come to PA?

IT's both of your day so you two should make the calls on where to have the wedding. I tell you from past experience you can't please everyone. Someone out there will complain regardless where you have the wedding. Here is a suggestion for you that might please everyone. Have a wedding at Pa still invite people from Ga if they can make it great if not than it's understandable. Maybe after the honeymoon you can throw a B.B.Q. at Ga for those who could not attend the wedding. That day you can show slide shows or wedding day of your wedding so your friends. and families than share the happiness for you. OR you can have the wedding vice versa. hope this help.

The both of you need to sit down and decide on the best thing for both sides. Whose family is closer and who minds and doesn't mind traveling.

Have two events, which is what my son and his Chinese bride did when they got married recently.

They had one ceremony and reception in Beijing for her family and friends, and another ceremony and reception in his hometown for his family and friends.

They had two great family gatherings, and those people who could attend both events had two terrific times.
