You'r a teen-ager and it is time for u to start making certain decisions for yourself(sometimes with your parents permisssion) This is probably a first step toward believing in yourself and the decisions u make. People are not always go8ing to like the things that u do. So WHAT!!! It is your life and u make the decisions that are what u want. Are you going to let your grandparents pick your husband, career and name your children. Tell u what kind of car to drive. Get the idea. Live life the way u want to live and be happy. Good luck

Nice little act of rebellion. If you are big enough to do it, then you are big enough to own up to it. If you don't tell them, you should just admit that that you are a gutless brat and take the thing out. Besides, you probably did it for shock value and you won't get any if you don't reveal it. it is your life, but you don't have to tell them either. If you really do want to tell them what happened, then the best thing to do is to be honest and try not to argue with them when they start lecturing you. LIsten to their concerns and explain to them why you wanted your belly butoon pierced in the first place. good luck

My nephew got his nipples pierced when he was in high school. He managed to keep it a secret from his parents for three years! :)
