just chill out people.do not take everything out of context.
i am here because i want to know what people think.

One possibility is the that the way you word your questions, if you're talking about yourself, could be leading people to believe you might be racist or, at least, that the questions are. Another possibility is that the people who answer aren't reading the questions well enough to give a thoughtful answer. Then a third possibility is that so many people aren't thoughtful at all and prove it with the types of questions and answers rife on this site. Lastly, maybe some people just want to be able to vent their frustrations and anger on someone else and take whatever apparent opportunity they find to do just that.

Ask respectful questions and you should get respectful answers.

what if he were white?
what if the guy in Fl. that killed the deputy was white instead of black.and the cops killed the
cop killer?do u think that would make a difference on how people would react to the outcome?

Unfortunately the way you worded the question makes you seem to be one sided on the topic. People pick up on that and therefore become offended. With a question like this you need to state on the bottom you are not racist, you are just curious what others think because it is a touchy subject.

Sheep huh. I can look past that because I read your bio and it sounds like you are somebody who takes politics and your viewpoint seriously. Good luck American.

I understand, Liberal. Sorry I jumped so quickly to conclusions.

For the same reason that a man asking a lot of questions about fishing spots is thought to be a fisherman, or a man asking which way to Mexico is believed not to be headed for Canada.People have hacked the race thing to death, only a few die-hard remain concerned for personal reasons. Most normal people could not care less if today is the last day the dam issue goes to hell and stays there.

I don't think you should have to state anything about whether you ar racist, I would sooner think you should state that you are only asking to learn about another culture. How can people do that if they get shot down when they ask questions??? We can hardly get rid of ignorance if people won't answer questions and only throw fits about others being racist when a question is asked. I totally agree with you! A lot of people will jump on you in this forum but you have to watch how you word questions so as not to offend people; be tactful. Good luck with this in the future.

That's why I don't ask "race" questions on here. It's just not worth it. I am interested in people, what they do, what they think, why they do the things they do....I'm especially interested when I find something going on in that group that I happened to have experienced. But people are so touchy, here and out in real life, that I just don't ask about Blacks in particular anymore. I may be curious about stuff but unless the person is a friend, they assume you're racist rather than interested and curious.

Your friends should judge these questions based on the context as well as your character.

Since most of us don't really know you, the answers.yahoo crowd will judge you primarily based on the wording:

Questions that may be considered racist:
1. Why do {insert race} steal so much?
2. Why are {insert race} so lazy?
3. Do you think we should ban {insert race} children from attending our schools?

You get the picture.

I agree...many people are so afraid of being labeled racist....and the truth is we have much more in common with all peoples and very little differences....I think if we could find a way to celebrate differences without the fear, we will all be in a better place.

I'll use the sheeps answer...ditto Honor Guard

Not refering to honor guard as the sheep, but the phrase ditto as the sheeps response(Rush Limbaughs herd) in concurrence with honor guard.

Nowadays people call each other racist, bigot or ignorant any time they disagree with each other. It's getting so old and it doesn't carry the same weight anymore.
