who thinks that we should have a real subway system. Like from downtown to east la and the valley and glandale and pasadena and south LA and the airport. whos sick of this bullshit bus service and wants fast transit to anywhere in LA. ?? How about for startes, we finish the red line to Santa Monica. Comments? Suggestions? Agree anybody?

Sounds like a great idea.

But, as always, it requires a big investment. If the taxpayers of the areas serviced pass bond measures to bring it to fruition, all is well. But that is as likely that Bin Laden will surrender himself to the Swiss Army.

I think it would be hard to gain traction for the idea in most areas, let alone that one place on the planet where the car is "king", forever and always.

Get real kid, we live in a hilly region and it is not feasible to build metro in such a region. Make do with trams right now
