I appreciate all your advice, well, some of it but I am not going to spend my time thinking up some artsy, fartsy, titles when my pictures speak for themselves. That's just one step closer to conformity, numbers are just fine. I'll take the simplicity of putting my 20 best pictures online to having 100 of my photos organized into 5 groups- it's too complicated and I think somewhat vain and conceited. The whole thing seems kind of stupid too me. Everyone's posting pictures but not taking the time to look at other people's work. I'm just as guilty. It has almost nothing to do with the quality of your work.

It is not Flickr's fault that your pictures are not being viewed. Are you tagging your pictures? Are you adding a descriptive title? Have you joined groups that cover your photographic style?
Whenever you join a group, you are entitled to post one to three pictures per day to that group, which will put your pictures on the front page of the group's page. It is a great way to get people to check out your work.
If you are not doing as I described, and you move to a different service, you are going to have the exact same problems.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

My question would be; are you using Flickr to promote professional work or are they snapshots of family and things?

i agree. u must do more than just upload the photos. put them into diff. groups, tag them etc

try photo finale quick start,they have a free version. i use it and it works good.
