I just want it to be known that this question comes from a cousin of mine who just decided to take her frustrations out on my computer. The guy she is dating has been stringing her alomg and when she asked him he got offensive and told her that if she doesn't want to be with him then just say so and he'll leave her alone. She's really upset and being a total pain in my *** right now but thanks to y'all who answered her honestly!

Well the saying is men lie to make them self feel better...while women lie to make others feel better. Perhaps the man that is lying is just very insecure.

Some men lie because they believe they are telling women what they want to hear and plus it boost their egos
