I live with a chew monster. I order Antlerz (naturally shed deer antler) and Ocean Chews (dried sting ray tail) for her to chew on. These are 100% natural, do not splinter, and will digest if you dog swallows them. Great for keeping teeth clean, too. I order these, and other tough chews at http://www.petextras.com
Toys are going to be a little harder. My dog won't touch the rubber ones at all, she wants stuffed (HA!). I found toys called Combat Extreme that are warrantied against chew damage. They are made of ballistic nylon. I also got her a toy made from fire hose material. Just google either one, they are all over.
Good luck, and you are not alone!

Have you tried Bitter Apple? If not, you can get it at your local pet store. You spray it on anything that you dont want your little one to chew and it tastes sour. I used it on my old bullmastiff and it worked wonders! Also, I currently work for an veterinary hospital and we just recently had to perform surgery on a lab and removed what appeared to be rawhide. So please find alternatives that would help your pet. I'm not sure if you have a Petsmart nearby but if you do, there is a toy that I bought for my bullmastiff. I cant remember exactly what it was called, but it was made of canvas and it has a lifetime warranty on it. They have one that looks like a mailman and one that is a cat that says "bad kitty" on it. They worked for my dog and he couldnt even tear one hole in it. Also, contact your local veterinarian and see if they have these treats (kind of similar to rawhide) called CET Dental Chews. Not only do they help significantly with tarter build up, most dogs love them! I hope this helps and good luck! :)

Have you tried a kong? You can get them in extra strong and they are guaranteed not to be chewed up.
They also have these toys that you soak in water, and then freeze so it cools the dogs mouth as they chew. Your puppy is teething and that is why they are chewing on everything the coolness might help.

You will have to pardon me while I roll on the floor for a bit.
Two suggestions
Patients,, he will grow out of it,,,,,,, well sorta
Consistency,, Beagles do well with a set routine
And welcome to the wonderful world of Beagles, I promise you if nothing else your dog will always be entertaining.
Kongs last fairly well, and hard nylabones last
Remember that a Beagle is motivated by it's nose and it's belly, so scented toys work best

Oh you have one too. LOL I have bones from my butcher and also a bone on a rope that he can not destroy. He loves shoes and has destroyed some shoes, slippers, remote controls, wallets, bowls, a bed, and the list goes on and on. Get your beagle a solid thick thigh bone from the butcher that will keep him busy for days.

Try a KONG. They are supposed to be indestructable. You can put some peanut butter or cheese whiz inside and it will keep the dog busy for hours.
