I drink one after each workout, but like today I was drinking it and it was so hard to drink. I gagged for like 4 seconds at one point, but manages to drink it all. SO who really enjoys them anyway?

I enjoy whey protein drinks, but it took me going through quite a few to find one that I really enjoyed drinking.....Optimun Nutrition has a really good whey drink. I personally prefer the chocolate ones. Sometimes I will add a tablespoon of peanut butter to a chocolate one and it makes for a really good shake with vanilla soy milk added to it to mix it. When using the vanilla one, I add banana, mango slice with mixed frozen berries, using vanilla soymilk and just a dash of orange juice. I only use very little of these ingredients to keep down the carb content. Optimum Nutrition proteins offer low carb protein shakes

Try Syntrax's Nectar. They have eight different "fruit" flavors and believe me, they taste great. All it requires is water. Cherry is my personal favorite. I also heard ErgoPharm's Gf Pro is a great tasting protein powder. Plus, both of their ingredient profiles are excellent.

The only drink you need is water.......protein shakes are a waste of money.

I've tried a bunch and I stick with Met-Rx choclate ones. They still kinda suck though. I'm pretty sure no one enjoys them for their taste.
